I love learning new things. I love having information at my fingertips. When I'm speaking with someone and they ask a question that we can't answer, I pull out the handy i phone and Google the question. Before you know it, thousands of possibilities have uploaded. This is important to remember as a teacher or even a parent.
Children are very inquisitive. They will ask as many questions as possible, and like any normal person, we won't know an answer. This is a perfect opportunity to have a little discussion and find out together. You don't have to use the Internet, even though it's more convenient and a lot faster. All you need is access to a library or even a set of books in the classroom; encyclopedias, dictionaries, or educational magazines. Not only will it bring everyone together, but it's a fun learning technique. Instead of "I don't know", try "Let's find out, together!"
